It's #GratefulFriday

Meditation has the power to heal your heart and to help you bring more gratitude and joy into your life. When you meditate repeating a mantra, it helps keep your mind and body focused on the moment. Chanting mantras is an ancient practice that calms your mind and soul. Scientific studies have found that chanting mantras for 10 minutest helps you to pause, turn inward, and reduce stress and anxiety.

Let's try using this mantra meditation. Prani Dhana, which means - My individuality expands to universality. Grace dissolves the resistance and obstacles in my life. Take a long, slow, deep breath in and gently let it go. As you inhale feel your body beginning to settle in. As you exhale feel your mind beginning to calm down. As you inhale, visualize your breath as a gift from the universe. As you exhale, feel your breath as a thank you to the universe. Now repeat the mantra out loud 3 times. then whisper it 3 times, then repeat it silently to yourself over and over. Try to allow the mantra to be just like the notes of music. Let your breath and the notes of the song become one. Feel the mantra, the vibration of the notes to fill your heart up. Stay here for 15 - 20 minutes. When you are done pause, bring your hands to your heart, and take a moment to feel the gratitude in your heart.

By practicing gratitude you can remove the blocks to joy. This practice will expand your perspective because you are not alone. It is a reminder to step back, to gently think again, and to take a fresh look at the situation you are struggling with.

Much Love,

Lindsay
